Background: Shobhit Jain is a filmmaker and a graduate from the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII). He is also the co-director of the Media Division at Samaj Pragati Sahyog (SPS). At SPS, he engages in translating ideas, knowledges, and practices into films and media content in collaboration with the local communities that SPS works with, articulating in collective spirit the lived experiences that the local people want to document.
